The Western Reserve Historical Society is a collection of treasures. Treasures come in many forms and sizes. They are manuscripts, furniture, books, fine and decorative arts, and automobiles. They are textiles, like the Revolutionary Flag pictured above. These treasures will be featured in a special exhibit opening in the fall of 2006.
The stories connected to 150 artifacts gathered over the past 140 years speak to the people, events, and movements that shaped the history of Cleveland, the Western Reserve, the State of
Ohio , and our country. They were selected because they are historical, rare, interesting, original, unique, significant, relevant, and valuable.
